ELMENDORF (Web posted 3/20/08)-- Police here are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for vandalizing one of the department’s vehicles overnight between March 17 and 18.
The vehicle was parked in the yard of the city’s administration building, which is located in the 200 block of Bexar Avenue.
“We had someone hop our fence on 3-17-08 or 3-18-08 and use one of our iron water line joints to break out the [driver’s side front] window in one of our police cars,” said City Administrator Cody Dailey. “Bricks were also thrown at the car causing dents and paint scratches.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Elmendorf police Chief A.D. Carroll or Sgt. Sonny Gonzales at 210-635-8710.
