Christianity, as we all know, is the world’s most powerful religion. It’s a
giant scam, based on a lie.

My first step in debunking this farce is to debunk its holy book. To do
this, I shall begin by pointing out that it cannot have any divine
influence, as it’s mostly comprised of stories taken from other mythologies.

One of the easiest to notice is the story of Samson, from the book of
Judges, chapters 13-16. He’s clearly a rip-off of Heracles/Hercules, who was
dreamed up by the Greeks in 350 B.C. Samson, in order to impress the
Philistines and marry a Philistine woman, kills an unnaturally large lion
that was killing Philistines as they went through a certain mountain pass.
Samson was chosen by the biblical god and given limitless strength, as long
as he never cut his hair. The first great task for Hercules, a demigod with
limitless strength, was to kill the Nemian Lion, a rather large lion with
divine powers that nobody else could kill.

The story of the “Virgin Birth” of Jesus of Nazareth was also stolen,
from not just one, but numerous mythologies that predate the Bible by a
minimum of more than 500 years. One good example is the Persian god, Mithra.

His mythos was written in 1200 B.C. His birth story is almost word for word
that of Jesus, yet was written hundreds of years before anything in the
Bible. In fact, one of the oldest mythologies the Jesus story plagiarizes is
that of the Egyptian sun god, Horus. His mythos was carved in hieroglyphs in
3000 B.C.

Moses and Noah are also stolen from other mythologies. The flood story
of Noah is stolen from the “Epic of Gilgamesh,” written in 2600 B.C. All the
main plot points are identical. Moses’ story is stolen from the mythological
story of Sargon of Akkad, an ancient Mesopotamian ruler and empire builder.
Like the Noah/Gilgamesh plagiarism, it utilizes all the major plot points of
the Sargon story.

I have noticed in the past few years that many decry the Islamic belief that homosexual activity should be punished by death to both parties. The old testament of the christian used bible prescribes the same punishment.

Congratulations cast a few morsels on the water and cause a feeding frenzy..... In my humble opinion, the only reasonable sane reply to your article was from Fred Owens.

It drives me crazy when people constantly bring up the crusades and witch trials to vilify Christianity as a whole. Every single religious group has had some sort of violent past. If you attack one religious belief with that ... More ›

Any problems with the Bible, email to Obama ask which section gives you problems and what he was thinking when he wrote it.

I personally find that the Bible makes an excellent paper weight...big enough and heavy enough to keep the air conditioning from blowing papers on the floor.
