Bob, great story! However, you are so kind to call Bill and Sam your ultra-liberal friends. They will not be so kind to you! Have you ever noticed how Liberals love to attack the person speaking without a word to the example in the story or argument presented? What are the insults supposed to accomplish? Do our minds become hypnotized by their ugly thoughts? What a waste of space they are!

Wonderful experiment. It shows that one cannot depend upon the generosity of the rich. In order to guaranty fairness, it must be legislated. You did not like the waiters politics so you stiffed him. He did the work, but you refused to pay him. This is what evil people do. They cheat the needy. You had a great laugh at his expense. BTW, I suggest you never go to that restaurant again. The staff is likely to spit in your food.

Is he talking about the character that right out of the box calls Bob a fraud, neocon, bootlegger, and has ego issues. Yes you are a real winner Sam, great way to have a discussion. Thanks for disturbing this blog.

Boy, Pritts once again your enormous ego get involved and you get so wrapped up in your own self worth that no one can compare. You seem to know me because from the start you sound off on my character. Boy, what a pompous man you are. I’m glad that I have the good fortune to only know you through your rants in this paper, because I think that personally you a misguided lonely man. I definitely don’t care about your life, as sorry as it is, but what I do with mine is miles above your lonely existence. Good luck in living your ‘life’.

Let's get down to a level you might understand. Let's talk about sports.

Last year the Patriots were the overwhelming favorites to win the superbowl. I have never been much of a sports fan but I began to put my common sense and instincts together. I saw an opportunity to improve myself. I have always thought that when a great team plays an average team, the average team actually has the advantage in many cases. After all, the great team has their plays, both offensively and defensely, down to a science. The average team on the other hand sometimes pulls off plays that the great team doesn't understand. They simply don't know how to react. It's not in their playbook.

So, I legally wagered $100 in a Las Vegas casino on the New York Giants. I risked my money. At that time the payout for a win was 15:1. If I won, I would get $1,500 for my risk. If I lost, I would lose my $100.

I won. I paid my taxes to the government, who had no part in my decision, and went on with my life. But, difference between you and me is that if I lost the $100 I had risked, I would write it off as a bad decision on my part and probably never try to do it again. You, on the other hand, would probably say that it was unfair that you got cheated and want the government to give you a share of the tax money I paid. Even worse, you might want them to tax me a little more to raise your unearned stake in my profits.

Now what I have just written has nothing to do with ego. It has nothing to do with with what you call my being a 'neocon'. It has everything to do with those who are willing to go for it regardless of outcome. You are not one of those. I am. Too bad for you. I'm spending my time enjoying life and you're spending your time trying to live on others.

To my ultra-liberal friends Sam and Bill Hamm,

See, I even spelled my name right, Sam.

I did base my blog on facts. After I received the email from my friend I got the idea for the blog. I called him because quite frankly I couldn't believe that Joe actually had the cajones to pull off such a blatant, underhanded ruse on a fellow American.

My friend called me back later and told me Joe actually did this for real, and that later he felt sort of sad that he had played such a game with an actual wage earner. It never occurred to me that Joe may have gotten the idea from something he had seen or read on the internet. All I cared about was that he had actually done what he said. Any internet posting became insignificant in my view ... whether in jest or not.

I wrote the blog explaining that it was a factual story of what one American had truly done at lunch time the other day.

I notice that neither of you wrote negative comments on my previous blog about 'taxing the rich'. Couldn't you find a way to get around the actual numbers in it? If you had, you would have noticed that at the bottom I noted that it was a story previously circulated on the internet but that I thought it appropriate and helpful to print it one more time. That's another fact.

There is a book called The Pocket Book of Quotations, which contains quotes that are considered the most original, important, and stirring quotations of all time. There is one I just happened to find which said, "We would rather die on our feet than live on our knees". It was a line from a speech given in 1939, while facing a possible world war with Hitler, by none other than Franklin D. Roosevelt.

There was nothing listed about the origin. And, Roosevelt was recognize for his brilliance in thinking to have come up with, all on his own, such a poignant thought.

I'm going to go way over your heads now, so hold on. "Mas vale morir parado que vivir de rodillas". It is a Spanish language idiom not directly translatable word for word. It was used by a Spanish peasant from the small Pueblo of Annenecuilco. It was a slogan to encourage the country's campesinos to rise up against the powerful army under control of the current dictator Porfirio Diaz, ending his iron-clad 28 year rule. The Mexican revolution got under way. It was uttered by Emiliano Zapata around 1911. I didn't see any far left liberal criticize FDR for plagarism. Oh, that's right, you guys didn't exist then! Sorry.

Transalation of Zapata's idiom, "It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees". Sound familiar.

I think you guys have way too much time on your hands and your wasting it in believing in false promises. Try to learn something, you'll like it!

Is that where we start our campaign, in the living room of a terrorist? Please do the research for me and get back to me. Please include after your research why you think it is okay to impose socialism and Marxist way of life on us all. You will find in your research that this kind of government will eventually lead to tyranny because it always does. If telling stories like this tears down your radical impositions than keep pumping them out Pritts, and who cares where you get them.
