Rocha, Fonseca wed Aug. 2 in Floresville

Ryann Elizabeth Rocha and Peter Michael Fonseca were united in marriage Aug. 2, 2008, in the First Baptist Church in Floresville, Texas. The groom’s grandfather, Pastor Guadalupe Fonseca, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Danny and Diane Rocha of Floresville. She is the granddaughter of Teresa Lopez of Floresville and the late Alex Lopez Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rocha of Poth.
Ryann is currently attending the University of North Texas in Denton in pursuit of a degree in education.
Peter, the son of Alfred and Rosie Fonseca of Katy, is the grandson of Pastor Guadalupe and Isabel Fonseca and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Herrera, all of San Antonio.
Peter is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and is currently employed by East Penn Manufacturing in Carrollton.
Chelsea Reed attended Ryann as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were LeAnne Hofferichter, Ashley Broll, Sarah Reed, and Jenny Fonseca, sister-in-law of the groom. Samantha Juarez of Utah, cousin of the bride, served as the junior bridesmaid. Sidney Miller served as the flower girl.
Thomas Fonseca, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Alfred Fonseca Jr., brother of the groom; Michael Westemeyer; Antonio Bosquez; and Tony Marquez. Luke Rocha, brother of the bride, served as junior groomsman. Brant Cass, cousin of the bride, and Draye Miller served as the ring bearers.
Bryce Cass, Alex Lopez III, and Dillon Zaiontz, all cousins of the bride, and Andrew Garza, cousin of the groom, served as ushers.
A reception, dinner, and dance followed in the VFW Hall in Poth.
After a honeymoon in Florida, Ryann and Peter are residing in Lewisville. |
