Whose Job is it to Lower the Toilet Seat?

Every man has been on the receiving end of some woman’s wrath after having left the toilet seat up on some rare occasion of having raised it in the first place!

You know what I mean don’t you? The guy does the right thing to raise the seat ring so as to leave it nice and dry for the ladies. Next, along comes Madame in the middle of the night to plant herself on the cold rim after having FAILED TO CHECK THE LANDING ZONE before touchdown! There will never be a man that will always put the ring back down when done and never will there be a woman that will always clear the target when approaching the LZ. Then why is it ALWAYS the fault of the man?

I thought about inventing an automatic seat that would rise to the occasion when Bubba approached but if Bubba had other needs he would face the water landing his wife complains about. Besides, if it were to malfunction on Madame pinning her to the tank, it would make for a 911 call to be the talk of the firehouse for years to come.

I find that this often sparks an interesting debate and sometimes a food fight at a slow moving dinner parties. Try it! Casually pose the question of who is responsible to putting the lid down when with a mixed group of friends. Then sit back and enjoy!

What do YOU think?

It's much easier to be a gentleman and "always" lower both seat and lid, than to wonder for only she who stirs the soup...knows exactly what's in it!~ Geez, I forgot about the economy already!

What do I think? I think you have already run out of material to write about. Next week: Fart Jokes.
