Open parking for the San Antonio Tea Party 4th of July Celebration at the
Rio Cibolo Ranch has been relocated from the San Antonio Raceway to Ulrich
Road. This parking site is closer to the Ranch itself, on the outskirts of
Zuehl, just off IH-10 East, about twenty-five minutes drive from downtown
San Antonio. Signs posted at the exits for Ulrich Road/Zuehl will direct
attendees to our open parking area. From there, a free shuttle will
transport people to the Rio Cibolo Ranch, where a day of traditional Texas
summer activities and games has been planned. The grounds open at 3, and the
evening program of live music and speakers begins at 4:30 PM with emcee Evan
Sayet. Other speakers include Marcus Lutrell, Dr. Donald R. May, and San
Antonio’s own Katherine Moreno, who spoke at our Tax Day gathering in Alamo
Plaza. Live music performances by Steve Vaus, the Chris Story Band, and the
Jokers Wild Band, culminating in a traditional firework display after
sundown. The flag ceremony will be performed by members of the veterans’
motorcycle group, the Gadsden Riders, and members of the Freedom Ride, who
are traveling by horseback all the way from Independence, Texas to
participate in this celebration.
Those who would like to attend the VIP dinner, with special guests “Joe the
Plumber” and Marcus Luttrell are asked to purchase their ticket through our
website www.sanantonioteaparty.org. Those who are attending the wish to
attend the 4th of July celebration are asked to also RSVP at the same
website. |
