Jessica Marie Hartman and Aaron William Tudyk were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in the First United Methodist Church in Canyon, Texas, with the Rev. Joe Cox officiating.
Jessica is the daughter of Floyd and Terrie Hartman of Canyon.
She is the granddaughter of Carl and Lorene Hartman of Umbarger and the late Howard and Patricia Wright, formerly of Slaton.
Aaron is the son of Ronald and Audrey Tudyk of San Antonio. He is the grandson of Louise Doege of San Antonio and the late Willie Doege, and Lydia Tudyk of St. Hedwig and the late Albin Tudyk.
Soft asymmetrical pleating adorned the strapless bodice of Jessica’s gown of white luxe taffeta. The natural waistline was defined with a sash adorned with Diamante beading accenting the bouffant waterfall skirt. The motif cascaded down the full chapel-length train. The bride also wore a pearl and diamond necklace set that belonged to her great-grandmother. She carried a bouquet of white roses.
The maid of honor was Jill Balmer. T.J. King and Jodi Hartman served Jessica as bridesmaids. Taylor Doege served as the junior bridesmaid.
Cowboy Mock was the best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Hartman and James Hartman. Tylor Doege served as junior groomsman. Wyatt Hartman was the ring bearer.
A dinner and dance reception were held in the parish hall at the Catholic church in Umbarger.
After the honeymoon in Breckenridge, Colo., the couple plan to reside in Canyon. |
