Two shot near Sutherland Springs

SUTHERLAND SPRINGS -- A father and daughter are in critical condition at San Antonio hospitals and a man is to be magistrated after being arrested for allegedly shooting them at a home on Santa Gertrudis Drive in the early-morning hours of Aug. 28, officials said.
Brian Q. Hernandez, 29, of Corpus Christi was arrested by deputies from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury. Chief Deputy Johnie Deagen said Hernandez allegedly shot America Marie Hernandez, 34, and Abel B. Gonzalez Jr., 54, just before 2:42 a.m.
