Mike and Elizabeth Tessman of Falls City, Texas, and Francisco and Pam Quintanilla of Premont are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Misty Dawn Tessman and Eric Montemayor.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Stanley and Evelyn Tessman of Falls City, and the late John and Addie Pearl Gilley, formerly of Karnes City.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Reynaldo Montemayor of Park City, Ill., Lupita Canales of Premont, and the late Francisco and Tomisita Quintanilla of Premont.

Misty, a 2000 graduate of Falls City High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Texas A&M University- Kingsville in 2004. She is currently employed as an assistant vice president at Kleberg Bank in Kingsville.

Eric, a 1993 graduate of Premont High School, is currently employed with Orion Drilling Co. in Corpus Christi.

The couple plan to marry Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in the First Baptist Church in Kingsville.
