Tomasita Tijerina of Elmendorf, Texas, and Roger Koog of Arlington are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Mae Koog, to Michael Lee Ximenez, the son of Benny and Rose Ximenez of Floresville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Guillermo and Ruperta Tijerina of Elmendorf, and Art and Connie Koog of Round Rock.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mariano and Carmen Garcia, formerly of Floresville, and the late Alfredo and Guadalupe Ximenez, formerly of Floresville.
Kimberly, a 1998 graduate of East Central High School in San Antonio, is a 2003 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and a 2005 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a master’s degree in postsecondary education. She is currently employed as a middle school teacher for the San Antonio Independent School District.
Michael, a 1998 graduate of Floresville High School, is a 2003 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a 2005 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a master’s degree in postsecondary education. He is currently employed as an academic advisor at Northeast Lakeview College in San Antonio.
The couple plan to wed Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville with Father Phillip Henning officiating.
After the wedding, the couple plan to reside in Floresville. |
