Browns renew their wedding vows

Danny and Norma Pitts of La Vernia, Texas, and Peter and June Brown of Morden, Surrey, England, are proud to announce the marriage of their children, Amanda Marie Gonzalez and Michael James Brown.
The couple married in London, England, on Oct. 4, 2008, but desired a Texas wedding. They recommitted their vows on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in the back yard of Amanda’s parents’ house. The ceremony was officiated by Wilson County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Jim Burdette.
Amanda is a 2007 graduate of La Vernia High School and Michael completed his education in England, graduating in 2005.
The couple originally met in Kitzingen, Germany, where Amanda’s family was residing because of her stepfather’s military assignment. They remained in contact over the years and visited each other as often as possible. Amanda moved to England in 2008 and they were subsequently wed.
The couple will reside in Morden, Surrey, England, where Amanda is employed at the local school as a nursing aide. Michael is employed as an auto auctioneer and has been accepted into the constabulary (England’s police force) and will begin his training in January 2010. |
