Just as John wrote above, my dad and grandfather were both larger than life. They each shaped my life in ways that I'll never fully understand, or be able to fully appreciate. Each of them left an impossible to match legacy.

When I was little, around 3 or 4 my Uncle Joe would take
me in his truck to feed and look at the cows. We would
bounce and bounce in that truck. He would ask me if I was ready to go bounce. In his language ment its time to
feed the cows. Thanks Uncle Joe for taking me bouncing.
Once I asked him "Why don't you drive on the road Uncle
Joe"? He said "If I did this old truck wouldn't bounce.
I said "Good, stay off the roads because I just love to
bounce"!

Nan, our dearest condolences to all of the family in the passing of Joe. Dewayne and I were speaking of him the other day and the humorous experience we had when WalMart first opened.... he was a gem.

Joe had a great sense of humor which added to his loving commitment to family and especially to his Savior.
Wilson County needs more men like Joe.
