If you have been enjoying the historical information included in this sesquicentennial column, you may enjoy a copy of the commemorative Wilson County Sesquicentennial History Book.

The book includes 166 colorful pages of Wilson County�s history, packed with some of the information that has appeared in these columns, and much more. The books are $20 each.

Shirley Grammer and Maurine Liles, members of the Wilson County Historical Society, will sell copies of the book Thursday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wilson County Courthouse in Floresville.

The Sesquicentennial Committee is organizing celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of Wilson County.
