Sesquicentennial books on sale

If you have been enjoying the historical information included in this sesquicentennial column, you may enjoy a copy of the commemorative Wilson County Sesquicentennial History Book.
The book includes 166 colorful pages of Wilson County’s history, packed with some of the information that has appeared in these columns, and much more. The books are $20 each.
Shirley Grammer and Maurine Liles, members of the Wilson County Historical Society, will sell copies of the book Thursday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wilson County Courthouse in Floresville.

The Sesquicentennial Committee is organizing celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of Wilson County.
