Marvin and Molly Roemer of Floresville, Texas, and Jerry and Deborah Sachse of Schertz are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Christine Roemer and Russell Sachse.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Alfred and Manilla Roemer, formerly of Floresville, and the late James and Aggie McKee, formerly of San Antonio.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Wilma Davis of Yukon, Okla., and the late Herbert Sachse, formerly of Shawnee, Okla. His maternal grandparents are Russell and Marilyn Talbott of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Christine, a 1999 graduate of Floresville High School, attended Midwestern State University and Texas Lutheran University. She is currently employed by the Warrior Group in DeSoto.

Russell, a 1994 graduate of Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz-Cibolo, is currently employed by Timber Tech in Cibolo.

The couple are planning a November 2009 wedding in the First Lutheran Church in Floresville.
