Luce-Recker daughters announce parents’ engagement, their impending sisterhood

Amanda Marie Luce and Sydney Ryan Recker of San Antonio, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their parents, Kathryn Marie “Kathy” Luce and Brett Steven Recker.
Kathy is the daughter of Charles Henry “Pete” and Lucille Emanuel “Lucy” Klaus of San Antonio.
Brett is the son of Clifton and Glenda Recker of Wood Valley, located in the La Vernia Independent School District.
The bride-elect is a graduate of East Central High School and currently serves as a tenured customer-service specialist for Conway Freight Inc. in San Antonio.
Brett, a 1980 graduate of La Vernia High School, has more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive electric rebuilding business and is a partner-owner in the family business, Triple R DC Experts. Triple R is one of South Texas’ leading auto rebuilders specializing in starters and alternators, and is located on Rigsby Avenue (U.S. 87 South) in San Antonio.
The couple have been friends since childhood and share interests in bowling, gardening, and football. They are avid Dallas Cowboys and Spurs fans.
The couple will be married Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in the historic Dewees-Remschel House near Poth. Their attendants will be their daughters and impending sisters, Amanda and Sydney. Other attendants will be the groom’s best friend, Glenn Maxwell of Stockdale, and Brent C. Recker of La Vernia, brother of the groom.
Kathy and Brett will reside in Eagle Creek Ranch in Floresville. |
