No where did any of you mention the wounded or the dead. Please there is a time and a place for your opinions.
This is not the place or the time.
Pray for the families,the wounded, the dead, the shooter ( yes, Jesus said we must love one another enemy or foe )

I don't mean in any way to impune the Wilson County News reporting of this incident. The above article merely reports what was believed to be the facts at the time. It's the 24-7 cable news that I'm talking about. The rush to get it out there, even by the Army itself, Post Commanders who should have, by that time, hours later, had the facts straight, got it wrong. Not good. Not good at all.

Breaking news is always like that and most people understand how it works. It seems the ONLY time people seem to take the media at it's word is when the annointed Obama speaks. Personally I don't even listen to what he has to say anymore. Nothing but words and no real substance.

As usual, the first reports are wrong. The media rushes in and gets it all wrong and puts it out there all day long. To fill air time and milk the story, they grab anybody off the street and ask his opinion, call up politicians,(Hutchison) who know absolutely nothing and go on and on about nothing, the usual hand-wringing and feel-good, empty expressions. Before the dust settles, Obama runs out there to the cameras and calls it "horrifying", but was careful not to call it "terrifying", because we don't use the word "terror" anymore.

As it turns out, there was one lone, killer, a US Army Major, a psychologist, and a Muslim of middle eastern descent, (per his cousin). The latest body count is 13. Initial reports said the killer had been shot and killed by MPs. Much, much later, the killer was reportedly shot but still alive.
Some real good reporting, eh?
