Agree - not entirely the fault of our ex-president (GWB)... Fair enough, nor have I ever claimed that!

Just like our current position economically certainly is NOT the fault of President Obama... however, the complete meltdown of our economy did happen during his (GWB) tenure and yes President Obama certainly has contributed and has blame and in certain aspects ownership in this regard as well...

What cannot be disputed is that it is in 100% in his hands to fix and 9 months just isn't enough time but, things "seem" to be headed in the right direction - at least there certainly are signs which also shouldn't be disputed!

The DJIA and S&P are trading at or below the range where they were back in 2005. I wouldn’t exactly call that a booming market recovery ....yet. I hope, as does everyone invested in the market, that it will have a huge, booming recovery because my future quality of life depends on it. And I don’t really give a rip if Obama and his toe-sucking, socialist revolutionaries take credit for it. I just want my life savings back!

It will likely be years, however, before we recoup the losses of the devastating policies of the likes of Barney Frank, et al, who placed partisan politics above the national economic interest, legislating, allowing, promoting and ultimately hiding the sub-prime loan fiasco.

And please spare us the usual "it's all Bush's fault" rebuttal. It is futile to deny that the entire crash was caused by the failure of AIG and others, due to their involvement with the bad loans made to people who never should have gotten them, all based on a LIBERAL government policy of feel-goodism. Simplistic view? Yes. Absolutely true? Absolutely, yes!

The real crime of all this is the fact that those truly responsible, like Barney Frank and the executives that went along with it, will never be held accountable. This is due to the ideological complicity of the Media.

More on the growing US economy - Yes it's true that instead of GDP growing at 3.5% it grew at 2.8%... Nontheless, it HAS GROWN - I hope you understand this is a good thing and GREAT NEWS...!

Not sure where you're getting your info on US home prices - they rose for the second straight quarter! Again, this IS a great sign!

On the US auto industry - According to J.D. Power & Associates projects slightly higher new-vehicle sales for November in the U.S. from a year earlier, adjusted for two fewer sales days this year, on strong fleet sales and ECONOMIC STABILIZATION, a signal the industry is "on the mend." The news follows some pleasant earnings surprises from auto makers. Ford Motor Co. (F) and Toyota Motor Corp. (TM, 7203.TO) posted profits in the third quarter and boosted utlooks. The auto industry has been one of the hardest hit in the recession. True GM posted a loss, they nontheless are also improving and in fact have started to repay thier debt to the US Govt.
