HEADLINE: Offshore drilling ban kills jobs and weakens economy

July 15, 2010 | By Amanda J. Reinecker (heritage.org)

Banning offshore drilling will not clean up the Gulf spill. It will,
however, kill jobs and further devastate our economy. That's why it's a good

HEADLINE: Austinites and San Antonians will reach out to unregistered voters

(AUSTIN, TX) - Organizing for America-Texas (OFA-TX) will hold voter
registration drives across the state today as part of the Democratic
National Committee and OFA’s ‘VOTE 2010’ campaign. Voter registration is a
key component of DNC and OFA’s unprecedented $50 million “VOTE 2010”
campaign.

The voter registration drives are part of the ongoing grassroots organizing
that OFA-TX has been doing to engage new voters and reach out to 2008 first
time voters, independents, and the core of the Democratic Party. In addition
to person to person voter registration, the Democratic Party and OFA have
also recently launched the “Raise Your Vote” website, which serves as a one
stop information center with details tailored to their specific city or
town.

... Remember ACORN? In 2008, Obama's campaign paid hundreds of thousands of
dollars to register voters. ACORN claims to have registered 1.3 million new
voters. They must have missed a few ...

Not to worry, ya'll. Nobody will be required to buy anything because one of the things the Dems did behind those doors in secret was to quietly remove the wording that would make it a crime to not pay the fines. Unless they've ... More ›
