HEADLINE: Offshore drilling ban kills jobs and weakens economy

Banning offshore drilling will not clean up the Gulf spill. It will,
however, kill jobs and further devastate our economy. That's why it's a good
thing federal judge Martin Feldman ruled against the President's proposed
deepwater drilling moratorium. And why it's a good thing a federal appeals
court rightly upheld his decision to strike it down.

But the President has introduced a new ban....

HEADLINE: Austinites and San Antonians will reach out to unregistered voters

(AUSTIN, TX) - Organizing for America-Texas (OFA-TX) will hold voter
registration drives across the state today as part of the Democratic
National Committee and OFA’s ‘VOTE 2010’ campaign. Voter registration is a
key component of DNC and OFA’s unprecedented $50 million “VOTE 2010”

The voter registration drives are part of the ongoing grassroots organizing
that OFA-TX has been doing to engage new voters and reach out to 2008 first

Wonder why anyone would be upset that the DNC is paying an organization to register democratic voters. Isnt that what they're supposed to do? It's DNC money. I think it would be bizarre if the DNC spent money to register ... More ›
