Offer condolences

Stanley J. Oster, 96, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in Seguin, Texas. Stanley was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Nov. 11, 1914. He worked many years as an aircraft electrician in the Civil Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of more than 50 years of marriage and the mother of their three beautiful children, Rose Elizabeth Oster; his second wife, Bea; and his sisters, Celia and Jean. Stanley is survived by his daughter, Ruth Oster Schulze and husband Luther; his sons, Kenneth Oster and wife Mary and Donald Ostrowski and wife Florence; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia. Chaplain Virginia Courtney will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
