Dustin De’Wayne Perry, a resident of Floresville, Texas, passed away on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, in San Antonio at the age of 20 years, 10 months, and 11 days.

Dustin was born Feb. 16, 1990, in Houston to Marvin Calvert and Becky Gibbs Perry. He attended Floresville High School and enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, skateboarding, and playing video games.

Dustin is survived by his parents, Marvin and Becky Perry of Floresville; his brother, Gregory Lugo of San Antonio; his grandparents, Ron and Christine Perry of Floresville, Royce Calvert Rutherford, and Elizabeth M. Gibbs; his great-grandmother, Cheri Russell of San Antonio; his uncle, Ronny Charles Perry Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles from the Gibbs clan.

A visitation was held on Friday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m., and a memorial funeral service was held at 2 p.m. in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville with Pastor Joel Odom officiating.

The family requests that memorials be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
