Blood drives Jan. 10

There will be two opportunities for community members to donate blood on Monday, Jan. 10, in Floresville.
A blood drive at Connally Memorial Medical Center, located at 499 10th St. (U.S. 181), will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
All presenting donors will be entered into a quarterly drawing for a chance to win a $3,000 shopping spree at Bjorn’s.
The Floresville Chamber of Commerce will have a blood drive from 2-5:15 p.m. at the Floresville Chamber Visitor and Tourist Center, located at 910 10th St. (U.S. 181).
Participants must be at least 16 years old and weigh 120 pounds with a parental consent form. Participants at least 17 years old must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health to donate. Donors must present identification.
