A barbecue benefit will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Pruski’s Market, located at 10140 U.S. 87 S. at F.M. 1628 in Adkins. All proceeds will benefit the Frank Kruse family, who lost their home and a family member in a fire on Christmas morning.

The $7 plates include brisket, sausage, rice, beans, and condiments. Sausage wraps and donuts will also be sold in the morning.
