FLORESVILLE -- The Maverick Golf Club is now the River Bend Golf Club of Floresville. The club was recently sold and is now owned and operated by the Pleasanton Country Club.

"It is a new day, a new attitude, with new carts, and many more new improvements to come,” said River Bend General Manager David Ogrin in an e-mail newsletter.

I am happy to see the transition with the golf course. It is a great golf course! My brother Don, has come from San Antonio to play the course. He likes it. I wonder if someone is going to open the restaurant! I miss the Green ... More ›
