The high school football season may be over, but for a group of La Vernia High School alumni, their football days are just getting started.

Playing as part of the Alumni Football USA program, a number of former athletes from La Vernia will once again strap on the pads as they face off with Marion High School on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. in Marion.

The alumni games are full contact, and basic high school football rules are followed, with a few exceptions. The games are open to anyone interested in suiting back up for their school, and there are no age limits.

For more information about the game between La Vernia and Marion, visit http://www.alumnifootballusa.com or call Curtis Sanders at 512-887-0550.
