CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas will hold its fourth “Picture Your World” Youth Photography Program workshop on Sunday, Jan. 23, from 1-4:30 p.m. at Mission San Juan, located at 9101 Graf Road in San Antonio.

Mission San Juan offers a unique landscape for photography lessons and exploring the natural world.

“Picture Your World” workshops, which are open to youth ages 8 to 18, focus on learning about nature and its conservation from a naturalist and learning camera techniques and composition from a professional photographer.

Registration for each workshop is $10 for members of Green Spaces Alliance and $15 for non-members.
