Qualifications: Have active worship life and ongoing growth in faith, understanding of Lutheran-Christian tradition, ability to work with both adults and youth, basic computer and organizational skills. Director will disciple both parents and youth grades 1-12, establish appropriate caring relationships with youth, seek opportunities to connect with youth in their environment on their schedule, organize parents into groups for children's ministry work, arrange at least 3 annual local events or trips for Sr. high youth, recruit and encourage youth and adults to take positions of shared leadership and involvement, create and implement means for regular communication with parents and youth, manage youth and family ministry calendar in collaboration with staff, parents, and youth. Roland and Barbara Goeckel of Seattle, Wash., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Anne, of Tucson, Ariz., to Kyle John Mutz of Tucson, the son of Elmore “Butch” and Judy Mutz of Floresville, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Fritz and Gertrud Goeckel of Surprise, Ariz., and Merrill Bruneau of Spokane, Wash., and the late Mertice Joy Bruneau.

Jennifer is a 2000 graduate of Lynnwood High School in Seattle, Wash., and a 2007 graduate of the University of Arizona with a master’s degree in rehabilitation She is currently employed at the DIRECT Center for Independence Inc. as a peer counselor.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dorothy Mutz and the late Fabian Mutz Sr. of Floresville and Tommy and Doris John of Cuero.

Kyle is a 1999 graduate of Floresville High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona with a master’s degree in rehabilitation. He is currently employed at Pima Community College as a disabled student resource program specialist.

The couple will be married on Saturday, March 12, 2011, in the Tucson Botanical Gardens in Tucson, Ariz.
