Douglas and Joy Scheel of La Vernia, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Samantha Kelly, to Timothy Oswald of Ohio.

Samantha is an assistant at Zinn Insurance Agency and also works for Cowgirls Unlimited in La Vernia, bartending parties, weddings, and conventions. The bride-elect attends Northeast Lakeview College and is majoring in public relations. Samantha plans to open her own wedding consultant business and boutique.

The prospective groom will be going to recruiting school in Kentucky in February.

The couple will be married in an intimate ceremony on Saturday, April 16, 2011, in San Antonio with a reception to follow in the Oak Leaf Banquet Hall in San Antonio.
