Offer condolences

Doris (Uecker) Kneupper, 87, of Pleasanton, Texas, and formerly of Adkins, passed away on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottwin Kneupper Sr.; her parents, Alvin and Ida (Semlinger) Uecker; her granddaughter, Pamela Kneupper; and her brother, Jerome Uecker.

Doris is survived by her son, O.L. Kneupper and wife Joyce of La Vernia; her daughter, Diana Prasifka and husband Russell of Pleasanton; her grandchildren, Jason Gray of Dallas, Jennifer Millar and husband Brent of Schertz, Melanie Posey and husband Thomas of Adkins, Scott Kneupper of La Vernia, and Allison Prasifka of Pleasanton; a great-grandchild, Jason Gray Jr. of Dallas; and her sisters, Irene Martin and La Verne Lotito.

A visitation was held on Monday, Jan. 10, from 5-9 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m.

A Mass was held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, with Father John Flanagan officiating.

Interment will take place in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made by way of Mass cards or to the American Parkinson Disease Association, APDA Alamo Area PDSG/San Antonio Chapter, 8507 Chesham, San Antonio, TX 78254.
