Willette F. Goodwin, 85, of Schertz, Texas, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011. She was born on Dec. 2, 1925.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Dea Andruss and Bobby Wayne Goodwin; one sister; five brothers; and a grandson, Wayne Charles Andruss.

Willette is survived by her daughter, Janice Pigg and husband B.J. of Schertz; her son, Charles Bee Andruss and wife Patsy of Stockdale; grandchildren Brandon K. Kirtner and wife Kim, Brandy K. Wooten and husband Andreas, Janel McFadyen and husband Matt, Beau K. Kirtner and wife Emily, Brandon J. Pigg and wife Jaime, Bryant A. Pigg, Michelle Deagan and husband Wesley, and Tim Andruss and wife Patsy; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Jim Freasier and wife Nell and Tommy Freasier and wife Sue; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 11, from 5-7 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor John Payne officiating.

Interment will follow in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
