Each year, the San Antonio Police Officers Association Benefit Fund Scholarship is awarded to five recipients. Four recipients receive a nonrenewable $1,000 scholarship and one recipient receives a nonrenewable $2,000 scholarship.

Graduating high school seniors wishing to apply must have maintained a minimum of an 85 grade-point average throughout their high school career. They must provide an acceptance letter from an accredited college or university, an original sealed high school transcript, and an essay on why they feel they should be selected as one of the recipients.

Send completed application and attachments to San Antonio Police Officers Association Benefit Fund Scholarship, Attn: Marisa N. Flores, 1939 N.E. Loop 410, Suite 300, San Antonio, TX 78217.

All applications must be received or postmarked on or before Thursday, April 14.
