Offer condolences

Henry A. Zimmerman passed away on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at the age of 90, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 24, 1920.

Henry was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the San Antonio Anglers Club, and the Farm Bureau.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hermine (Meyer) Zimmerman; his brother and sister-in-law, Edgar and Cecilia Zimmerman; and his wife, Isabelle Linne Zimmerman.

Henry is survived by his nieces, Joyce Kresta and husband Daniel, Sandra Flowers and husband Mark, Janice Wetuski, and Janelle Larrison and husband Steve; his nephews, Dennis Zimmerman and wife Eva, Jackie Kraft and wife Mae, Aubrey Linne and wife Gigi, and John Linne and wife Sandy; various great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends; his special friends, Kip Workman and wife Julie, Alma, Rebecca, Luly, Guadalupe, and Popa.

A visitation took place on Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 6-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Robert Palan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in La Vernia.

Memorial donations may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church/Cemetery or the charity of the donor’s choice.
