Texas Shine Full Service and Detail Shop Allegedly Damages Vehicles, Refuses Refunds

San Antonio, TX -- BBB has issued an F rating http://www.bbb.org to Texas Shine Full Service and Detail Shop for failing to respond to consumer complaints. Consumer disputes* received by BBB allege car wash and detailing services purchased from Texas Shine Full Service and Detail Shop resulted in hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars in damage to their vehicle. They further allege the company refused to pay damage claims citing a posted company policy. Other consumers allege the company refused to issue refunds for poor service and accidental overcharges or they failed to honor requests for contract cancellations.

The Shertz-based car wash and detailing business provides on-site service as well as the option to purchase monthly and yearly car wash packages through their website, http://www.txshine.com . Despite the promise they will “strive to improve our service and provide you with a comfortable and safe environment to wash your vehicle,” consumer complaints from San Antonio-area residents allege several service issues which remain unanswered.

BBB reports the business has not responded to 18 of their 22 complaints filed over the past three years. BBB warns the company’s website does not appear to contain a privacy policy or pre-purchase terms and conditions, despite making online purchases available to consumers. To ensure consumers are well-informed during the purchase decision process, BBB strongly encourages all businesses with websites to disclose their corporate privacy policy and all terms and conditions.

3) Be familiar with refund and cancellation rules.
