The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Timothy Rosales Jr., 39, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted list. DPS is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to his arrest. All calls, texts or emails are anonymous.

Rosales, a high-risk sex offender, escaped Monday night from a Houston halfway house and cut off his electronic monitoring device. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Rosales, who has family in the Denton area, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and a shaved head. Rosales has scars on his right and left arms, on his right wrist and on his back, chest and head. He has tattoos on his left shoulder, arm and leg and on his back and chest. His right arm is discolored.

Rosales was originally convicted of two aggravated sexual assaults in Potter County in 1987. He is now wanted on felony civil commitment and parole violation charges.

Texas Crime Stoppers offers rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in three different ways:

· Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
· Text the letters DPS--followed by your tip--to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
· Submit a tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture to submit a web tip.

All calls, texts or emails are anonymous.

Not to worry. He has to register as a Sex Offender. Then they'll know where he is. If he was that BAD, why was he in a Half-Way house to start with ? LarryJohn, La Vernia
