CrossFire Student Ministry is hosting a True Love Waits seminar on Saturday, Feb. 5, in the Family Life Building of the La Vernia United Methodist Church. Topics for this event include teenage dating, sex, and relationships. With all the pressures that teens face during their adolescent years, this could be a timely event for them.

This seminar is for all youth, grades 6 through 12. Its purpose is to teach youth the biblical standards for sexual purity based on the book, “True Love Waits,” by Jimmy Hester. Participants will be challenged to make a commitment to sexual purity. A ring ceremony will be held two weeks later.

Registration is $20 before the event or $25 at the door. Forms can be picked up at the church office or downloaded from the church’s website. Forms can be dropped off at the church office. No refunds will be made after Monday, Jan. 31. For more information, call Youth Pastor Javier Rios at 830-779-2621.
