Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Paul and Mandy Jarzombek of Schertz, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelli Nicole, to T. W. Hedfelt of Laredo, the son of Ted and Donna Hedfelt, and Linda Hedfelt and Eddie Mendez, all of San Antonio.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Henry and Dorothy Jarzombek of Kosciusko, and Freddie Martin and Rebecca Diaz of Stockdale.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mary Hedfelt of Kirby and Ken and Luise Davis of San Antonio.

Kelli, a 2003 graduate of Floresville High School, is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M Kingsville-San Antonio with a degree in marketing. She is currently employed with 1st Source Digital in Selma.

T.W., a 2003 graduate of Poteet High School, is a 2008 University of Texas at San Antonio graduate with a degree in business. He is currently employed as a body shop manager with Rush Enterprises in Laredo.

The couple plan to wed on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma.
