The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has announced the availability of state-funded college entrance examinations for current 11th-grade public school and home-schooled students as part of the 2010-11 Texas College Preparation Program.

Juniors can request a voucher from their respective high school counseling offices and may register for either the ACT or the SAT. Juniors may take one SAT or ACT for free.

The eligible test administration dates for the ACT are Saturday, April 9, or Saturday, June 11.

The eligible test administration dates for the SAT are Saturday, May 7, or Saturday, June 4.

Home-schooled students or their parents may request a voucher by e-mailing CollegePrepProgram@tea.state.tx.us with “Home School Voucher Request” as the subject line.
