Carol Ann Kesler, 62, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011. She was born on April 25, 1948, in Knoxville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary John Wilson Doster.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Charles Kesler of La Vernia, Texas; her daughter, Sandra Ibarra and husband Javier of La Vernia; her sister, Sandra Shires of Columbia, Tenn.; her brother, Lynn Doster of Tullahoma, Tenn.; and her grandchildren, Maria and Alejandro Ibarra of La Vernia.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia with Dr. Robert Palan officiating.

Inurnment will take place Wednesday in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
