Offer condolences

James Lee Pawelek entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at 6:10 p.m. in his home in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 59 years, 1 month, and 23 days.

James was born on Nov. 30, 1951, in Floresville to John B. and Barbara Pieprzica Pawelek. James graduated from Falls City High School in 1970.

He married Imogene Ann Hosek in the Blessed Sacrament Church in Poth on April 1, 1978.

James was a route salesman for Frito-Lay for 32 years. He liked the outdoors, fishing, farm animals, and sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his wife of more than 32 years, Imogene Ann Hosek Pawelek; his daughters, Dawn Lovelace and husband Matthew, Brooke Pawelek, and Skylar Pawelek; his grandson, Mason James Real; his brother, Marvin Pawelek; his sister, Sally Dodge and husband Frank; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Jane Hosek; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 5 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville, and Wednesday after 8:30 a.m. in the church.

The rosary was recited Tuesday at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the church with Father Phillip Henning officiating.

Interment followed in the Blessed Sacrament Cemetery in Poth.

Serving as pallbearers were Zachary Pruski, Dylan Kellner, Clayton Pawelek, Frank R. Dodge III, Gus Cavazos, and Michael Pruski.
