Over the past couple of years, the East Central Hornet football team has had one of the most capable quarterbacks in the area. Jagger “Eddie” Lopez got things done for the black and gold, and helped lead the Hornets to a district title in 2010. Now, the talented quarterback will get his opportunity to compete at the “next level,” having signed his letter of intent to Texas A&M University-Kingsville Feb. 2. . . .
