Poth begins Feb. 7

The Poth Independent School District will host kindergarten registration for the 2011-12 school year Monday through Friday, Feb. 7-11 and Feb. 14-18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security card, proof of residency, and a copy of the parent’s driver license must be presented at the time of registration.

For more information, call Principal Carolina Gonzales at 830-484-3321.

Falls City begins Feb. 14

The Luther Thomas Elementary School will hold a preregistration for all children who will be eligible for kindergarten for the 2011-12 school year Monday, Feb. 14, through Friday, Feb. 25. Children must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2011.

Letters concerning this registration will be sent to the parents of those children who attended our playschool in June 2010. If you know of any children who would be eligible for the 2011-12 kindergarten class, contact the school office at 830-254-3551, ext. 331, and identify these students.

In order to register, the parent must take the child’s original birth certificate, shot records, and Social Security card by the elementary office so that we can make copies of them and create a file for each child.

A registration information page can be found under the Student/Parents tab on the Falls City Independent School District website, www.fcisd.net. It is the eighth item down the list. If the Registration Information link does not show up on your page, click the green arrows beside the URL to refresh the page and it should be there.
