Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas will hold its fifth “Picture Your World” youth photography program workshop of 2010-11 on Sunday, Feb. 27, from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Cibolo Creek Ranch in Bulverde.

“Picture Your World” workshops, which are open to youth ages 8-18, focus on learning about nature and its conservation from a naturalist and learning camera techniques and composition from a professional photographer.

Registration for each workshop is $10 for members of Green Spaces Alliance and $15 for non-members.

Future workshops are scheduled for March 20 and April 10 in San Antonio.

Each spring, “Picture Your World” sponsors a photo competition open to anyone ages 8-18. The deadline for entering photographs into the 2011 competition will be Friday, April 8.

For more information, visit or contact Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas at 210-222-8430.
