ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Hilda Nava Hamilton of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, in San Antonio at the age of 50 years, 9 months, and 1 day. She was born on April 19, 1960, in San Antonio.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Luz Nava; her brother, Pete Nava Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Chuck Rich.

Hilda is survived by her children, Christina Nelson and husband David of Boston, Mass., Jean Rae Hamilton of San Antonio, and David Hamilton Jr. of San Antonio; her sister, Rosie Nava Ritch of San Antonio; and her brothers, David Nava and wife Janice of San Antonio and Victor Nava and wife Cathy of Floresville.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 4 p.m. in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adkins.

A funeral service followed at 5 p.m. in the church.

Inurnment was held at a later date.
