Johnnie Edward Cook Sr., 64, of Smiley, Texas, died in his home on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. He was born in Dallas County on Oct. 4, 1946, to Johnnie Ewell and Orpha Martin Cook. He worked many jobs in his life and was a master at them all. He married Fannie Jane Shuler in San Antonio on Aug. 24, 1976. . . .
