Offer condolences

Betty Arlene Williams, 90, of Kimball Township, Mich., died on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011. She was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Port Huron, Mich., to Howard and Margaret Bolton. She married Leroy N. Williams on Feb. 14, 1942, in Smiths Creek, Mich. He died on Oct. 28, 1997.

Betty graduated from Marysville High School and enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved to watch the Red Wings, crochet, and spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Parr; and a brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her six children, David Williams and Eileen of Floresville, Texas, Gary Williams and Pat, Richard Williams and Kathy, Sandy Parr and Fran, James Williams and Penney, and John Williams and Lora; 21 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her bird, Chris.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home in Port Huron with visitation at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Paul Kruse of the Light of Christ Lutheran Church officiated.

Burial was in the Caswell Cemetery in Kimball Township.
