ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Charles A. Bush Sr., 79, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011. He was born Jan. 19, 1932, in San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank Bush.

Charles is survived by his wife, Mary (Jackson) Bush of Stockdale; his daughters, Joyce Sekula and Rick of Stockdale and Ally Jacobson and John of Seguin; his sons, Charles A. Bush Jr. and Mary of Stockdale, Jimmy Bush and Denise of Stockdale, and Johnny Bush and Tiffany of Stockdale; his sister, Barbara Lucas and Mike of Victoria; his brothers, Lewis Bush and Nell of Victoria and T.J. Bird and Patsy of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation took place on Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Michael Cowey officiating.

Interment followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wilson County.
