CASA VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR, FULL-TIME POSITION. Provides professional staff support to CASA volunteers to ensure that abused children’s best interests are represented in court. Social services experience required.  Responsible for assisting with recruiting and initial training of advocates, and coordinating cases in Wilson County and Karnes County with Atascosa County (home office). Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. Must be available to work intermittent evenings/weekends with some travel.  Must have personal car, current TDL, and auto liability insurance. Charles A. Bush Sr., 79, of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011. He was born Jan. 19, 1932, in San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank Bush.

Charles is survived by his wife, Mary (Jackson) Bush of Stockdale; his daughters, Joyce Sekula and Rick of Stockdale and Ally Jacobson and John of Seguin; his sons, Charles A. Bush Jr. and Mary of Stockdale, Jimmy Bush and Denise of Stockdale, and Johnny Bush and Tiffany of Stockdale; his sister, Barbara Lucas and Mike of Victoria; his brothers, Lewis Bush and Nell of Victoria and T.J. Bird and Patsy of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation took place on Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 5-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale.

A funeral service was held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Michael Cowey officiating.

Interment followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wilson County.
