Register now for Children’s Hospital Trail Ride in March

Preregistration is under way for the 23rd annual Children’s Hospital Trail Ride to benefit the patients of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital.

The family-oriented event, slated for Friday and Saturday, March 18-19, features a 16.5-mile trail ride in Falls City, plus breakfast, lunch, refreshments, supper, and a dance.

Registration takes place from noon to 8 p.m. on March 18 at the Saddletramps & Muleskinners Inn, located 9 miles west of Falls City on F.M. 791.

The itinerary for the Saturday trail ride and dance includes registration from 6-8:15 a.m., with rideout at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be held at the Three Oaks Community Hall.

A supper and dance are open to the public. The supper will be held from 5-7 p.m., at the Falls City Community Hall in Falls City at $7 per plate. Other events include a live auction at 7 p.m., and a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Admission for the dance is $6 at the door, with children under 12 admitted free.

The registration fee for adults (age 13 and older) is $25 if received before March 7 and $30 after; $12 for children 6-12 years old; 5 and under are free.

Donation and registration checks should be made payable to Children’s Hospital Trail Ride and mailed to Shelly Gorzell, P.O. Box 22, Falls City, TX 78113.
