A training and testing session for persons interested in acquiring a private applicators license will be offered on Thursday, March 31, at the Wilson County Criminal Justice Center Courtroom, located at 800 10th St., across the highway from Pruski’s Valero in Floresville.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the training program will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. The test will be administered following the training at 1 p.m. A lunch break between the training and testing will be taken. No lunch will be provided.

This program is for persons who do not currently have an applicator’s certificate or license, for those who have a license which expired at least one year ago and want to retest, and for persons who want to upgrade their certificate to a license.

For more information, call the Wilson County AgriLife Extension Office at 830-393-7357 to register. Space is limited to 45 participants. A study manual is available for $25 at the Extension Office, located in the basement of the Wilson County Courthouse in Floresville.

Participants should take a calculator and photo I.D. to the training. This year, there will be a $10 registration fee payable at the door.

This program is being sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Karnes and Wilson counties.

For more information, call 830-393-7357.
