SAN MARCOS -- The Stockdale tennis team participated in the Central Texas Tennis Association tournament Feb. 17-19 in San Marcos.

In junior varsity girls singles competition, Lauryn Coston advanced to the second round. Jacob Cardenas and Tyler Middleton each played in the first round of consolation for the junior varsity boys, Tristan Marquez reached the consolation quarterfinals, Anthony Bennett advanced to the consolation semifinals, and Dylan Dunn reached the consolation final, where he finished as the runner-up.

In varsity action, Landon Coston reached the first round of consolation in singles competition, Jordan Jackson reached the second round of singles play, and Gabriella Salazar and Kristen Salazar teamed up to advance to the second round in girls doubles competition.
