The 2011 Congressional Art Competition -- An Artistic Discovery is a national showcase for local high school students’ artistic talent and creativity.

Students interested in participating may obtain forms from their respective high school art instructors or contact Rep. Henry Cuellar’s office at 1-877-780-0028. The deadline for artwork submission in the district is Friday, April 8.

The Congressional Art Competition is held each spring and is sponsored by the members of Congress. It has attracted more than 650,000 high school students nation-wide since its inception in 1982.
