The State Bar of Texas is asking Texans to create a 30-second YouTube video similar to a public service announcement on “The Difference a Lawyer Makes.”

Individuals and groups answering the question, “How do lawyers make a difference in our society?” can will a $500 award in three categories, including under 18, 18 and over, and People’s Choice Award.

Upload entries to www. youtube.com and include the tag “statebaroftexas.” To view entries, visit the State Bar of Texas YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/statebaroftexas and click on “Favorites.”

The entry deadline is Friday, April 1. Winners will be recognized at the State Bar’s Law Day celebration in Austin on Monday, May 9.
